October and November brought a lot of surpises our way, one the trip to Las Vegas! We travelled to Dubai for the long weekend and had a trip to Bahrain for the annual HYMA Ball

Halloween 2012
Like every Halloween here, we have a huge parade at the school followed by the kids Halloween classroom parties, then everyone heads over to our house for some snacks and some trick or treating....love this tradition. We set up chairs on the driveway, send the kids trick or treating and the group of us hand out candy while the men sit inside "chatting"

So Jordyn lost her two front teeth on Halloween with a little help from her sister. They were playing around before school (while I was madly trying to get treats together for their Halloween parties) when Jordyn came running into the kitchen screaming she lost her two front teeth. Sure enough Jaymee accidentally knocked them out....good thing they we already loose! So Jordyn was a true "Vampire girl" for halloween
Off to Vegas we go.....
For those of you who were not aware we were heading to Vegas...join the club. Rob had a conference in Vegas, so I was having a ton of Christmas gifts sent to the hotel for him to bring back, also I gave him a list of things to shop for, when he said "Why don't you guys just come?"
Four days later we were on a plane to Vegas....LOVE these last mintue trips!

The trip to Las Vegas had one BIG surprise for the girls, we didn't tell them Nannan and Grampy were coming to visit. So when they called the room to let us know they arrived, I told the girls we had to go pick something up at the front desk. Jaymee was annoyed, she said, "Do you have to go pick up more beer at the front desk again?" Oh my, living in a country where you can't drink....out of the mouths of babes.

Christmas shopping is done! Heading home!
It was a great last couple of months, so much going on. We are loving our life here in the sandpit, the weather is finally cooling off and we are all busy getting ready for the up coming holidays.
December is here and we are heading to Thailand for a Christmas with the Schmulands! So stay tuned for more pictures and.....
