Repat in San Antonio Texas!
Sorry Canadian friends and family, but we decided to go to Texas for our repat this year, to be honest we just weren't ready to see the snow. But we love and miss all of you!
Like everything else in our lives there is never a dull moment, including the flight to Texas. The girls were amazing on the long (23 hour) flights, but we almost didn't make it! We were scheduled to leave March 3, 2011 at 2:10am, so I went to be around 11:00pm on March 2, 2011 feeling good about having the rest of the next day to pack. While I was laying in bed I kept thinking, as of midnight it will be March 3, does that mean we leave in a couple of hours? So I ran downstairs and told Rob my dilema and he said No you still have tomorrow to pack. Satisfied I went back to bed. Moments later Rob comes upstairs and says "I just checked the flights, your flight leaves in 3 hours!" Holy crap I jumped out of bed, shoved clothes in the suitcases and woke the girls and off to the airport we went! Needless to say we made it!
we don't see everday in Saudi.

how we missed playing the birdies with Grandpa. My dad always has gummy worms on hand and the kids love to chirp like little birdies and pluck them from Grandpa's hand.
So we are in London and some how Jordyn leaves her stuffed dragon, Digga, on the floor, but failed to realize she didn't have him until we borded the tram to the gate we needed to get to, but of course...once you leave this one area you can't go back to the main terminal....of course you can't! So after many tears, we managed to get to Texas and head to Toys R' Us and pick out a new Digga. Now why you ask is Digga so special? Well Daddy has cast a magical spell on him, so in the nightime he eats all the monsters and ghosts...so you see why it was important to have him replaced! So now meet our new Digga!

So at the gate you are given food to feed the animals and the girls absolutely loved the ostriches, they would peck the windows and the girls would giggle non-stop. It was great. Then we'd roll the window down a tiny bit and throw the food out to him.
This reminds me of the deer off the movie Open Season

How do you get rid of hiccups? My dad is on to something here, because shockingly enough it worked! So you are supposed to plug your ears and drink (in this case whatever is in the cup) and your hiccups will magically disappear.
